Yesterday my father seemed to be rallying and they were talking about sending him home with additional help from hospice care. Today he took a serious turn for the worse. He is mostly sleeping now with the help of Dilaudid and Haldol. When he wakes he calls out "help me, Jesus." The director of hospice told my mother that my father will not be leaving hospice, his condition has worsened too much. My brother was going to come Wednesday but he's flying in tonight.
It seems that the end will come soon. There's much that I wish that I could have done differently.
